Power Technology Purchases Equipment
for Production of New Batteries

HOUSTON, Feb. 1, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Power Technology, Inc. (OTC BB:PWTC.OB - News) announced today that it had purchased machinery and equipment required for the manufacture of its patent-pending battery technology. The Machinery purchased is designed to apply lead tin plating on the company's proprietary, patent pending vitreous carbon plates.

Bernard J. Walter, CEO of Power Technology, stated, ``This equipment will allow us to achieve our long awaited goal of producing the critical components for manufacturing Power Technology batteries. We expect delivery in twelve to sixteen weeks of our unique plating system machinery.''
